This was Darfields last game of the season & there was an outside chance of qualifying for the semi-finals of the cup competition which would have ironically been against the same opposition. The boys set off very well but it was apparent that the normal flowing football was not evident a tightness had appeared holding on to the ball too long, running with their heads down very uncharisteric of them. The opening goal came from our own mistake it showed that the efforts over the long season had taken it toll as a collective unit there is no complaints from a coaches perspective to achieve what the lads have done this season is fantastic. A second goal put pay to qualifying but the boys walked off at the final whistle heads held high as the League Champions.
